News Tidbit

For those of you that like to know everything or might know something about one of these players, Rangers prospects Ken Roche, Dylan Reese, and Darin Olver are no longer part of the organization. All three players had to be signed by August 15th of this year or they would become unrestricted free agents. Roche was drafted in the third round of the 2003 draft, Reese was drafted in the seventh round of the same draft, and Olver was selected in the second round of the 2004 draft. The NHL institutes a 50 contract limit on all franchises and the Rangers currently have 47 professional contracts. The organization obviously concluded that none of the three players had enough potential to take up another one of those limited contracts.

No Peca news to report.
