Russian prospect Artem Anisimov has signed a professional contract with the New York Rangers. The 19 year-old center looked good alongside first round pick Alexei Cherepanov at the prospect camp. Anisimov was the Ranger's second round pick in the 2006 NHL draft. There is an outside chance that this kid can fill the Ranger's vacant third line center position, if the team does not decide to sign a free agent to do so.
